Karlos Pérez Nápoles is a Cuban artist born in Camaguey, Cuba in 1990. He graduated from the renowned Institute of Superior Art, and became an accomplished artist at a mere 26 years of age.
Karlos’s paintings blur the boundaries between mediums by reshaping images into existential characters. He scratches at the canvas, blots paint and reshapes events that had previously been captured on film.
His works have been displayed in museums worldwide including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Bronx Museum in New York, and in prestigious private collections in the U.S., Canada, England, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and Mexico.
